Five Things to Look At Before You Go To Die

things to see before you die

The Great Barrier Reef, Pulpit Rock, Kaieteur Falls are all on our list. But there are still some places we need to see before we go. These are our five favorites! Also, don't miss the chance to go on an African safari! And don't fret if Africa is not your destination. There are many beautiful places you can visit.

Great Barrier Reef

It is possible to do so much more than just swimming in the Great Barrier Reef. Liveaboard diving allows you to not only dive in the Great Barrier Reef, but also to get up close to it and to learn how to dive in it. Even an introductory course in diving can allow you to get up close and personal experience of the reef's beauty. There are also options to spend a night on a reef and take part in multiple diving sessions. This will give you more time to enjoy all that the Great Barrier Reef has to offer.

Great Barrier Canyon

Make sure you visit Horseshoe Shelter while visiting the Great Barrier Canyon. The shelter is home to one of the finest examples of Barrier Canyon style rock arts. It is 200 feet long and 15 feet high. This work of art was created by the prehistoric Desert Archaic culture. The art dates back as far as 2,000 to 8,000 year, long before Ancestral Puebloans and Fremont culture. These figures are completely limbless and are exceptionally well preserved.

Kaieteur Falls

The Kaieteur Falls is an impressive and powerful waterfall. However, you might not have known that it was located in Guyana. The 741-foot waterfall at the top of the waterfall is more than 5 times as high as Niagara Falls. However, you'll still have to trek through a jungle to reach the falls, and there are no handrails to help you keep your balance. You will have to use your imagination to reach the top.

Pulpit rock

You may have heard of life lists. These are itineraries that you plan before you die. With titles like "1,000 Places to See Before You Die" and "1001 Paintings You Must See Before You Die," bookstores are filled with ideas for what to do and see. There are even Web sites for life-list enthusiasts. These are the five best:

Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China has been listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hike is difficult and slow due to the steep steps and sections. However, the view is well worth the effort. Toboggans can be taken to the top of the wall if you're feeling adventurous. You'll need to be strong.

Notre Dame Cathedral

If you have never visited Notre Dame Cathedral before, you have missed out on one of the most iconic buildings in Paris. The stunning interior of the cathedral can be viewed for free. Stop by the rose windows. They are considered to be some of the greatest works of Christian art. The South Rose, dedicated to the New Testament, depicts Christ triumphant in Heaven with four evangelists and prophets surrounding him.

FAQ

What can I do to make travelling more enjoyable?

Traveling should not just be about getting from point A to B. It should encompass all the experiences that are encountered along the journey.

So, we created the app "Traveler", that helps you plan your trip using itineraries that are based on what interests you.

We are currently adding features like booking hotel rooms, flights, or renting cars.

The concept behind this project is to create a simple, yet effective travel planning tool for travelers who want more while on vacation.

What can I pack in my bag?

At least two pairs of shoes should be on your feet at all times. You need one pair for walking in the city; another pair to go on vacation.

You should also make sure you have enough clothes for both situations. It is important to have extra clothes in case you travel by plane.

It's a good idea to bring along some clothes for longer stays. This will ensure that you don't feel awkward while shopping for new outfits.

Comfortable shoes should be worn if you are taking the bus or train. You'll also need to bring a spare set if you are driving.

Also, remember to bring plenty of toiletries, such as shampoo, toothpaste, moisturizer, deodorant and toothpaste.

Last but not least, make sure you have a flashlight, an insect repellent, sunscreen and sunglasses as well as a first aid kit.

Don't forget to put all these items in one bag rather than trying to fit them into several different bags. This will save you time and space.

And finally, don't forget to pack a small towel and washcloth. They'll come in handy when you shower after a long day of sightseeing.

What documents should I have with me while traveling?

You can always access important documents while you are on the road by keeping copies at home. If you plan on using an ATM machine, you may want to keep a copy of your passport, driver’s license and other official identification cards.

It's always a good idea for you to have a photocopy with you of your passport in case you need it.

Do not forget to include copies and reservation confirmations. These will help to keep track of where you are going and what sights you're planning to see.

Keep a copy of the flight ticket and details for your hotel reservations. You'll be able contact someone back home in case you need them.

You should never leave valuables behind. It's a good idea to keep valuables safe and secure by storing them inside your luggage or on a money belt.

To avoid costly items being lost, make sure you check your luggage before you leave.

Keep in mind: It is safer to keep it simple than to plan everything.

Relax and enjoy your trip!
