Most Beautiful Cities in Eastern Europe

cities in eastern europe

Cities in Eastern Europe are full of charm. They are often underrated, and they offer a wealth of culture and history. These cities not only make great places to travel, but are also some of most romantic destinations on Earth.

Bratislava is one of my favorite cities in Eastern Europe. The city lies on the Danube river and is famous for its art-novel plazas and shaded walkway cafes. It also houses the Blue Church (a restored medieval structure). If you are a fan of art, be sure to check out the Museum of Contemporary Art. Bratislava is not only a historical destination, but also has an amazing nightlife scene.

It is an amazing experience to visit this city. Here you will find Gothic and Renaissance architecture, and it is a quaint and quirky city. There is a vibrant modern art scene, as well as a great selection of restaurants, bars, and shops.

The Christmas market is the main attraction of the city. Here you can find pork knuckles (with mulled wine), and plenty of Christmas cheer. It is located in central Europe's main square.

Prague has much to offer. However, the Old Town is the most important. It is an amazing place to visit and also has the distinction as being Europe's oldest medieval city. Prague is a must-see Eastern European city with its cathedrals and Gothic buildings.

Budapest is a beautiful and richly cultured city. It is a very affordable place to visit, with many festivals taking place in the spring and autumn. This capital of Hungary has an exceptional architectural style. Its Main Market Square, a 10-acre area that houses galleries and a wide variety of shops and restaurants, is a stunning example of Hungarian architecture.

Ljubljana, a small town, offers a wonderful mix of traditional and modern. This historic city's cobblestone streets will amaze you with their beauty. From the Castle to the Museum of Modern Art to the charming and quirky Kneza Mihaila, there is plenty to do in this small city.

You should make sure you understand the laws and regulations of these Eastern European countries before you travel. Moscow, for example is very different to other European capitals. Visas might not be possible for all visitors. You will get a fascinating glimpse into a country full of interesting characters if you keep your eyes open.

Mostar is an amazing destination. It has a magnificent skyline with cobblestones and a charming riverside. During the Bosnian War, the city was damaged, but it still has its charm.

Try to visit Plitvice Lakes, while you're here. This stunning natural beauty is a UNESCO World Heritage location and is a fantastic place to hike.

What amount of luggage should I bring?

The length of the trip will affect how much luggage that you can take. Hand baggage is usually limited to 20 kg if you travel by plane. You will need more space if you travel by train or bus.

You will receive a form with all the details about your flight when you arrive at airport. This will include information such as the weight of your bags and whether you require assistance when checking them in.

This must be done before you leave your home. If you don’t, you may end up sitting around waiting while everyone else goes through their bags.

It's best to travel light, as you never know when something might happen. You won't be able to use your bag if it gets lost.

Do you worry about missing something while traveling?

Yes, I often forget stuff. This is more common when I go on a short trip. Luckily, I always have everything I need with me so I never run out.

For example, my passport is always with me. I also make sure to have enough money for any purchase of tickets.

Also, my phone charger is always with I. A small bag is also handy for storing other items.
